I know this book is too early for my 1-year-old son, but I put it in our bookshelf because seeing it makes me happier.

１歳の息子には早いとわかってはいても本棚に置いて眺めたい大好きな絵本。

The story is not dramatic but heartwarming. It includes something that doesn't make sense, but the small weird part can be expressed as something special and meaningful.

筋書きはあってないようなものだけど微妙に変なところがあって、それがまた味があるし、ちょこっとのシュールさがたまんないのです(ここは結構意訳です)

Who translated ''fur'' into ‘’Howahowa’’not ‘’Fuwafuwa’’?

I got the English one because I wanted to read the story in the original language, and compare it to this amazingly translated version.
